1.)Were you able to find places and spaces where you could really listen?
I felt like on the whole walk there were always other noises covering up others. So no, I really couldnt just concentrate on one sound alone.
2.)Was it possible to move without making a sound?
No, It was really hard to move and not make any noise. This was amplified when the whole class was going to the same place, there was alot of people making noise.

When I plugged my ears I couldnt hear anything but when I unplugged them I heard sounds before that I didnt hear in the begining. I felt like I could hear softer sounds that I couldnt hear before.
4.)What types of sounds were you able to hear? List them. If your original notes are legible, and include all of the sounds you heard, then simply link to the scanned image(s). If not, retype them so that we can read them.
Clocks, laughing, talking, exhaust vents, car breaking, plane, girls shoes, people speaking a different language, bike riding, a uwm cart driving around, Ice machine, paper rustling, door squeeking, bass from a car, diesel engine, crunch of ice ...

Yes, there were sounds that I could pin point right away, and then others that I had a very hard tiime finding or couldnt find at all, but I could still hear them.

Yes, most of the time I could tell which one was what, but there were a few sounds that I didnt even know what they were.

No, Sometimes I could tell close sounds from other sounds coming from far away, but when we were in the Union it made it really hard to determine what was coming from where.
8.)Were you able to intervene in the urban landscape and create your own sounds by knocking on a resonant piece of metal, activating wind chimes, etc.?
No, I feel like I made none of my own sounds execpt the sound of paper rusles and my footsteps. 9.) Do you feel you have a new understanding or appreciation of the sounds of our contemporary landscape/cityscape?
Actually yes I do, I heard alot of sounds that I dont think I would have heard before if it wasnt for this exercise.
